These beautiful baskets are lovingly handcrafted by the Amish of Southern Iowa. These baskets have a solid 8" diameter wooden bottom, and the weaving is made of natural wood also. The handles are constructed of real leather. Each handmade basket is signed on the bottom by the the Amish craftsman who made it, so no two baskets are exactly alike.
The handmade Amish dolls are 13" tall and are dressed in typical Amish attire. The Amish man sports a real straw hat. The faces are blank because religious beliefs among the Amish forbid the depiction of the human face on any object

These Amish gift baskets are not only great as a gift for someone else, but as a gift for yourself. Use the basket and dolls together, or seperate. They appeal to several home decorating themes such as County, Americana, or eclectic.
